Time to wrap up coverage from Twin City Vans  49th Annual Good Times Truck-In!  Here are some final photos of the Show & Shine lineup taken from the top of the grandstand.

Twin City Vans hosted our 49th Annual Good Times Truck-In in Albert Lea, MN in June 2026.  It was my 5th time attending and 4th as a member of TCV.  This is a closeup photo of the souvenir T-shirt I bought (artwork by Aurora).

Wrapping up coverage from the 2025 Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-In in Albert Lea, MN.  After the cruise, R/C Van races were up next.  I built a foldable ramp and brought cones to help lay out the course.  It was a lot of fun.  Some people really sent it over the ramp leading to a lot of thrills & spills and at least one van had a wheel break completely off!

Yes, I have even more photos from Twin City Vans 48th Annual Good Times Truck-In to share.  Check out the mirror on the ceiling.  I didn't even notice it until I was reviewing the photos I took.  Some of these vans have so many details it's overwhelming.

Coverage continues from the Twin City Vans 48th Annual Good Times Truck-In...

The 48th annual  Twin City Vans  Good Times Truck-In was held in Albert Lea, MN at the  Freeborn County Fairgrounds  June 6th and 7th.  I was there in my 1978 Dodge sporting my newly installed vintage Cal-Jammer wing.  I did not get my new windshield visor done in time so little pieces of blue painter's tape covered the holes where the old, broken one was riveted on.  I'm still hoping to get a new visor installed before the Nats.

Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-In Show & Shine coverage continues...

It rained overnight Friday night.  I slept in the van but had stashed my extra clothes and other stuff in my tent to make it easier to show my van later.  Unfortunately, my tent leaked a bit and a lot of my stuff got wet.  On the bright side, the rain made for some cool wet-van photos.

The Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-In #47 was held in Albert Lea, MN at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds  from June 7th though the 9th.  It was the same location where the club hosted the 48th Van Nats and was a change from recent years where the Good Times Truck-In was held in Preston, MN.  Unsurprisingly, I drove my 78 Dodge.

Here's the last batch of photos from the Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-In.  I joined the convoy as we left the fairgrounds took a cruise north towards Rochester, MN.  Randy and I needed gas and I totally forgot to put my gas cap back on.  I had to call the gas station and pick it up on the way back.

Friday was a lot of fun but Saturday had all the big events at the 46th Annual  Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-In.

2023 was my second time attending the Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-in and the first time as a member of TCV.  I drove my 1978 Dodge Trademan, of course, but this time I knew to bring a tent to put my stuff in when I wanted to show my van for show & shine or bright & shine.  I still slept in my van, but the tent proved useful.  The truck-in was held in Preston, MN.

While I've been going to Chariots of the Gods for years (usually on a motorcycle), I attended my first proper "truck-in" in my Dodge van since buying it last year.  I headed down to the Filmore County Fairgrounds in Preston, MN for the 45th Annual Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-In (June 10-12, 2022).  I wasn't really sure what to expect but the weather was good and everyone was really friendly.  It was all very laid back, which is probably what I should have expected.  This is my 1978 Dodge Tradesman B200:
