July was another fun bike night at Forgotten Star , hosted by The Litas Twin Cities .

The weather was beautiful and the resulting turnout was huge for June's bike night at Forgotten Star , hosted by The Litas Twin Cities .

The first bike night of the year was on Cinco de Mayo at Forgotten Star , hosted by The Litas Twin Cities .  Sadly, there were no tacos to be found but it was the big release of their beer, Margalitas, and there was live music and lots of bikes so I suppose I'll forgive them.  I brought my Harley-DavidSchwinn chopper bicycle and parked it right up front.

The second-to-last bike night of the season at  Forgotten Star  was hosted by  The Litas Twin Cities  on September 2nd.  Cooler weather and some threats of rain may have kept some people home, but the turnout was still quite strong and it was a fun time as always.

August ended up being another very nice night for bike night at Forgotten Star , hosted by The Litas Twin Cities .

I went to  Forgotten Star  Bike night hosted by  The Litas Twin Cities  on July 1st and it was packed!!  It was the busiest I think I've ever seen it.  Great weather led to a very big turnout.  I brought my Schwinn Stingray because... why not?

I've only managed to make it to one bike night so far this year... I went to Forgotten Star  Bike night hosted by The Litas Twin Cities on June 3rd.  An appropriate blogpost for Father's Day... My son debuted the 1978 Honda Z50 we worked on together late last year that I finished up with custom painted wheels and fresh tires in the spring.  I had been sitting on various parts from a non-running Z50 since 2018 and the project was long overdue.  It's a one-of-a-kind 48V electric conversion using a mix of original & new Z50 parts and all sorts of custom & modified parts by yours truly.  The bars are by Zombie Performance .  After a couple of issues frying and melting electrical bits, I'm thrilled with the way it turned out and my son loves it.  The electric Z50 is quiet, fast, and has good range.  He and I ride around our neighborhood together all the time and he was pumped to ride it into bike night.  Unsurprisingly, quite a few people...

The last bike night that I attended in 2024 was October 1st.  It was held at Forgotten Star Brewing and hosted by The Litas Twin Cities .  It was particularly fun because my son and I both brought bikes.  I had the Evil Monkey (my '76 Honda Z50) and he had his Razor MX350.  Obviously we didn't ride them there, but we did ride around the parking lot and it was a blast.  The Razor was originally my daughter's bike and when she outgrew it, my son rode it a bunch.  Over the past few months, I built him his own custom bike and I'll get to posting about that eventually.

With the last bike night of the year just around the corner, I figured I should get photos from this month's bike night at Forgotten Star , hosted by The Litas Twin Cities , on the blog.  The weather cooperated again and there was a good turnout at the brewery.

Two weeks ago on August 6th, bike night was held at Forgotten Star Brewing , hosted by The Litas Twin Cities .  The weather was perfect (finally!) and there was a huge turnout.

Full Tilt Boogie 2024 coverage continues...

Full Tilt Boogie is always my favorite show of the year.  This year, it moved venues (again) and was held for the first time at Forgotten Star Brewing .  It was a sunny and hot day on the asphalt.  Thankfully they had cold beer inside.

July 2nd was First Tuesday bike night at Forgotten Star , hosted by The Litas .  Last month was pretty much a rain out (but I went anyway).  This month certainly had clouds and a small threat of rain, which might have kept some people home, but it turned out to be a nice evening with a solid turnout.  Here are a bunch of photos:

The last bike night I attended in 2023 was First Tuesday at Forgotten Star Brewing , hosted by The Litas .  There may have been a thick blanket of clouds and a little drizzle, but you really have to squeeze all the days out of the riding season that you can around here.

It's a new year and it's once again time to try to catch up a bit on my massive photo backlog before 2024 events start up.  Check out the Event Calendar for everything coming up - tons of good stuff.  I'll try to close out 2022, starting with September 2022's First Tuesday, hosted by The Litas at Forgotten Star .

The Litas Twin Cities host a great bike night the first Tuesday of the month at Forgotten Star Brewing in Fridley, MN.  My whole family enjoys this one so the last few times I've gone I drove (blasphemy, I know), just so we could all go.

I finally made it over to First Tuesday Motorcycle Night at Forgotten Star Brewing , hosted by The Litas Twin Cities .  If you haven't been, you might be intrigued to learn Forgotten Star was recently named coolest taproom in the entire world .  There was a solid turnout in spite of a pretty large rain system moving through south of the cities.  Moon Motorsports and Royal Enfield had some displays set up.  There was a good mix of bikes, delicious beers, and it was nice to run into a lot of friends.  As if that wasn't enough, it was also the last stop on the Wango Tango Show tour!
