Last Thursday I rode my Sportster over to Mad Jack's in Brooklyn Park for bike night.  I only stayed briefly but there was a decent turnout. Grain Belt bike Soft asphalt:

It was a beautiful night for bike night at Mad Jacks in Brooklyn Park.  Even though the weather was beautiful and the drinks were cold & cheap, I was a little disappointed in the bikes.  While it was one of the best turnouts I've seen in terms of quantity of motorcycles at Mad Jacks, there just weren't too many interesting ones so here's a picture of mine.

Third Thursday is Jacked Up Bike Night at Mad Jack's in Brooklyn Park.  I went early but didn't stay too long.  They have free hot dogs and chips for those who ride. There weren't too many bikes there at first.  There was this highly customized Sportster seemed to belong to one of the Hamsters.  While it's definitely not my style, I certainly appreciate the work that went into it.

Made it out to Third Thursday at Mad Jacks in Brooklyn Park.  No pics (sorry).  I couldn't stay too long but I had a good time talking to people and staying warm by the outdoor fireplace.

Jacked Up Bike Night at Mad Jack's in Brooklyn Park was June 16th (third Thursday, as usual).  I got there early and got a good spot to sit on the patio.  Overall it was a good turnout and Donnie Smith showed up to bring a touch of class to the event. The weather was so nice, I took a ride downtown as well.  Here's a shot from Bob's Java Hut .

It's Third Thursday so that means it's bike night at Mad Jack's in Brooklyn Park. As usual, they had part of the parking lot blocked off and free hot dogs & chips for anyone riding in.  I rode the Sportster (third from the right). I also met a few guys, one of whom recognized my bike from this blog.  It's only happened a couple of times but I am always pleasantly surprised when someone recognizes my bike and says hi. Here are some of the other bikes.  Donnie Smith was there and his bike is third from the left. It's a little easier to spot in color (the orange one): The parking lot got more full as time passed but, unfortunately, I couldn't stay long.

I stopped by Mad Jack's in Brooklyn Park for "Jacked Up Bike Night" (Third Thursday) tonight.  Sadly the lot normally reserved for bikes was full of cars and the outdoor patio appeared closed.  It was sunny and clear but it was a little chilly (around 60).  I didn't see other bikes so I turned around and left.  Apparently it seems Dulono's is the only real bike night in October in Minneapolis.  Both Mad Jack's and The Joint clearly listed bike nights in October on their websites and I attempted to attend both this month with disappointing results.  Don't get me wrong - I really like both of these places and go a lot.  Just don't expect to show up to bike night in October at either place and actually see bikes.

It was cloudy, humid, and rain seemed to be imminent last Thursday night so I think that kept a lot of people away from Jacked Up Bike Night at Mad Jack's in Brooklyn Park. Don't get me wrong - there were people there but the turnout but was roughly half the size of recent months. I got a spot next to two other Sportsters that I liked. Here's the one that was parked closest to my bike.  Check out the hardtail frame, springer front end, forward controls, foot clutch, and hand shift, among lots of other amazing details.  There's lots of awesome custom fabrication work here.

It's "Third Thursday" so that means it's Jacked Up Bike Night at Mad Jack's in Brooklyn Park, MN.  There's a nice outdoor patio with fireplace and free hot dogs.  Last month , there was a decent crowd but it split after the sun went down and I was the last bike standing at 8pm.  This month was different and the crowd stayed later because it was much warmer (70s). Here's my Sporty: I liked the bike parked next to mine: Well, I've seen him at his bike show , I've seen him at The Joint, I've seen him riding on the Flood Run, and now I've seen him at Mad Jack's.  It's official...
