Ton-Up Minneapolis announced the 2014 Demon's Death Ride and it will happen Halloween night, 10/31.  It starts at Town Hall Lanes and ends at Club Jager .  I went last year and it was fun (but very cold).  You can see my blog posts from the 2013 ride by clicking HERE .

The third and final stop on the 2013 Demon's Death Ride was Club Jager , which was a short ride down Washington Ave. from Grumpy's . I'm not going to explain this pic: Skeleton: More shots of the lineup: Overall, it was fun but it was cold.  Once you got downtown, the stops were close together so that helped.  Is the weather was warmer, I would guess the turnout would have been higher and the costumes would have been better but it was still really good and I'm glad I went. After leaving Bob's we rode as a group down Lyndale, Hennepin, and Washington to Grumpy's Bar & Grill .  It was fun and we must have been a sight to see (and hear) as we got a lot of stares. I believe this is Billy, the organizer of the event. The bikes were all lined up. I got a few more shots of the bikes on the run and even managed to get one of the pumpkin headlight lit up. Miscellaneous costumed shenanigans: I didn't get any riding action shots but I got these as we were getting ready to leave Grumpy's for Club Jager. Photos from Club Jager are up next.

The 2013 Demon's Death Ride was this past Saturday night.  It was very cold and below normal for this time of year at about 40°F.  In spite of the cold, about 25 bikes showed up for the start of the run at Bob's Java Hut .  I rode my Sportster. Bikes lined the streets around Bob's.  Most were cafe racers and were a mix of Japanese, British, and Italian makes and models.  It makes sense given the fact the event was sponsored by Ton-Up Minneapolis .  Mine was one of only 2 Harleys that showed up. The bike at the front of this shot is 1976 Triumph Bonneville, same year as my dad's. Some people decorated their bikes.  The plastic pumpkin was awesome lit up. Severed foot in the forks: Skeleton on a Ducati: Some people had demon-appropriate helmets. Most people just wore a mask or some face paint as you really needed heavy leather gear, not a thin costume, for riding in such temperatures.  It woul...
