Continuing to dig deep in the photo archives and revisit long past shows... This time, we're heading back to Stillwater and the first time I attended Ma Rad's Rumble on the Deck Chopper Show.  It was the 15th annual, held July 8th, 2010 at The Freight House.  My original blogpost ( here ) was brief, and photos were in black-and-white.  Let's jump into some expanded full-color coverage.

Here are a few more photos from the 20th Annual Ma Rad's Rumble on the Deck chopper show . Jared made my 883R's pipes.  This is his Sportster: Cool ironhead: Jason says hi. Is this bike talking to me?  Is the bike asking me to steal it?  Is it talking about my wife?  Is it talking about someone else (in which case my wife will be pissed)?  I am so confused. Very cool Yamaha chop.  I really like the wings on the tank: Finally, here's a hardtailed Sportster with lots of cool details. This year's show will be in a !!! NEW LOCATION !!! Ma Rad's Rumble is July 14, 2016 at Sal's Angus Grill in Withrow, MN (northeast of the cities).

Here's a couple of shots of the crowd checking out the bikes and enjoying a few beers at the 2015 Rumble on the Deck bike show: There were some cool vintage bikes in the show and ridden in by spectators. This 1950 Triumph Thunderbird was really cool: Coverage wraps up tomorrow so come on back!

The 20th Annual Ma Rad's Rumble on the Deck took place on July 9th, 2015 in Stillwater, MN at the Freight House .  While Tom Rad always puts on a good show, the venue just didn't feel as cool as past years because the setup was so different.  The show bikes ended up in the parking lot next to the Freight House instead of actually being on the deck. Since a lot of parking space was reserved for the show, parking for spectators was limited and I saw the cops ticketing lots of people who found space but were apparently parked illegally.  Even these two motorized scooters got tickets!!! Tom's a really nice guy and I was excited to hear he was looking for a new home for the Rumble, likely outside of Stillwater.  Here he is, pen and paper in hand, hard at work making sure everything is going OK. Anyway, on to the bikes! In addition to the one above, this is another one of Gilby's bikes: Do you love Willie G?  Well, even if you said yes, it's n...

This past Thursday was my 5th consecutive year attending Ma Rad's Rumble on the Deck in Stillwater.  This year was the 19th Annual.  I didn't stay as long as prior years so I'm just going to throw all the photos I did take into one long post.  I rode my Sportster and left after work.  Traffic and road construction sucked but I was happy to finally arrive. As usual, there was a wide variety of bikes on the deck and in the parking lot.  This is a shot before it got really busy.  It was a hot and humid evening. Yes, you're seeing double: Yamaha 650: Vintage Indian Chief: Baggers were well-represented (some might argue "over-represented" at a chopper show): There was a small but really good assortment of panheads this year. Speaking of panheads, Watermelon Pete brought his panhead that he built for Born Free 6 to the show.  I snapped a few photos in the parking lot and got a few more after he had it situated on the deck...
