Gophers and Cheese

Continuing to dig deep in the photo archives and revisit long past shows... This time, we're heading back to Stillwater and the first time I attended Ma Rad's Rumble on the Deck Chopper Show.  It was the 15th annual, held July 8th, 2010 at The Freight House.  My original blogpost ( here ) was brief, and photos were in black-and-white.  Let's jump into some expanded full-color coverage.

I never posted photos from the first four years I attended the Progressive International Motorcycle Show (2007-2010) as they all occurred before I even started the blog.  I would go on to attend every year through 2020, which was the last time it was held in Minneapolis.  Here we go!

Yep, I've dug back into the archives for another one.  I went to the Donnie Smith Bike Show in 2010, just a few days after starting this blog.  My early blogposts contained a lot fewer photos and I posted everything in black-and-white.  You can see my original coverage of the 2010 Donnie Smith show here .  Fast-forward 15 years and here we are.  I wanted to revisit some of these shows from the past, post color photos, and eventually put them in YouTube slideshows ... for reasons unclear to everyone including myself.  Enough back-story, let's start the new year by re-living 2010!

In case you haven't heard, Dulono's Pizza announced the closing of its uptown location on July 9th ( Facebook post ).  Dulono's was the the home of the biggest monthly bike night in the Twin Cities for many, many years.  The first time I attended was July 2010 ( original blog post ).  I would typically attend multiple times per year but more recently I spent my First Thursdays at the uptown VFW (which no longer has a bike night) and Heavy Thursdays at The Joint/Cabooze. Here are a few photos from July 2010 in full glorious color (longtime followers of G&C will remember I used to only post black-and-white photos).
