Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-in, June 2026 - Part 3

Time to wrap up coverage from Twin City Vans 49th Annual Good Times Truck-In!  Here are some final photos of the Show & Shine lineup taken from the top of the grandstand.

Van cruise around the lakes!  Nate is our club's cruise director and led the convoy.

We headed into downtown Albert Lea for a big car show which was part of Eddie Cochran Days.

Twin turbos!

Hey look!  A motorcycle.

I set up the track for the R/C van races.  I used marking flags and marking tape for the first time.  I really liked it but vans that couldn't seem to stay between the lines [*cough* Mad Vans *cough*] had a tendency to get tape pulled in by their wheels and wrapped around their axles.  Viva la Lunchbox!

Doughnut drives his R/C van first-person (FPV) from a camera mounted onboard.  He's always flying drones at these events too.

I made this collapsible ramp for the 52nd Nats.

Later, after it got dark, it was time from bright and shine!  I had my video fireplace going and music playing through the console.

The next morning (Sunday), I packed up and headed home along with everyone else.  Once again, my new slumber boot kept the interior nice and dark

It's always fun to drive alongside other vans for a bit.

Back to Minneapolis...

TCV's !!! 50th !!! truck-in is next year so make plans to join us in early June 2027.  More details to come!
