Gophers and Cheese

Here are some of the Sportsters I spotted at the 2014 Donnie Smith Motorcycle Show .  First up is Jarad's ironhead: Here's the Kennedy High School Chopper Class ironhead (work-in-progress): Green hardtail with giant oil tank/cooler: #94: At first, I didn't realize this was a Sportster, but it clearly is. Brett Ohland makes some cool bikes.  Here are two of his Sportsters. While I know it's not a Sportster, this is still my favorite bike of Brett's: If you went to the show and if you know me, then you know the group of bikes I'm saving for my last two posts.

As I mentioned in my first post about the 2014 Donnie Smith Bike Show , people have VASTLY different personal definitions for the word "custom" as it applies to motorcycles.  While I can appreciate the time, craftsmanship, paint, and expense that went into these bikes, they are not my style.  I'm not trying to make fun of them, and you may even like some/all of them, but I simply had to share.  The owners are clearly proud.  If you're viewing this post on Chop Cult's Blog Dump , I apologize in advance (cover your eyes or put on your welding helmet and scroll quickly). I give you... the Wolverine Fatboy: NOS-powered, dual-engined lunacy: Roundbar dragon: Not a full bike, but this could be the hubless front wheel you need for your next outlandish build. Snake skin pipes, surround sound, and a gambling motif... why not?  To me, the tank texture looks like tree bark but I think there are 3D skulls on it - I didn't get a good ph...

If you like shovelheads, there were a few at the 2014 Donnie Smith Bike Show .  Here's Joe Mustari's ... ...and here's a couple more: This one was pretty crazy. I know this wasn't a shovelhead.  It's a Harley-Davidson SS-250 from the same era. I'll throw in one hardtailed Evo for good measure too. While I'm saving some of the best bikes for last, I have to share some of the most ridiculous too.  Those are up next.
