Chariots of the Gods 2014
Back in 2014, the Chariots of the Gods Custom Van and Vintage Camper Show was held on August 16th. I didn't have my good camera with me so I only snapped a few photos with my phone.
I went to the show in 2013 too and it was definitely inspiring. I bought my first van in February 2015, a 1999 GMC Savana (blogpost here). Sadly, it just wasn't the right van. The '99 body style was too new and required a surprising number of repairs in the short time I owned it. I love the old style with the shag carpet interiors, porthole windows, and airbrushed exteriors that are just overflowing with personality. I ended up customizing a few things here and there but sold the van this past winter. I will own another someday.
Anyway, back to the show:
The good news is that I did bring my good camera to the 2015 show and I will post those photos next!
