This is my last set of pics from the 2011 Progressive International Motorcycle Show ... The Victory Motorcycles area had a bike called Ol' Vic (Ol'Vic) that seems to have been customized by Roland Sands Design .  I really liked it, particularly the hand shift, foot clutch setup. Be sure to check out the show next year!

Yep, more pics from the 2011 Progressive International Motorcycle Show ... There were a lot of over-the-top customs at this year's show.  This one has an insane alien theme going on. The Harley was dripping in chrome but it's not all show and no go.  If you look closely, it has a supercharger so I'm guessing it has plenty of go. Chromed out chopper. Ridiculous oversized front tire. My favorite of the custom bikes was this one.  I don't know what it was about me and sport bikes at this show, but I was digging them.  For some reason, the paint and style reminded me of a lucha libre mask. I'm not done... more pics to come...

Even more pics from the 2011 Progressive International Motorcycle Show ... There were a few Harleys besides the new models.  This Nightster was tastefully done with MoCo accessories: There was also an XR750 and XR1200 that were modified for racing.  If you look closely you will also see a V-Rod drag bike in the background of the last pic. Yet more pics from the 2011 Progressive International Motorcycle Show ... The National Motorcycle Museum had a pair of bikes at the show.  This is a 1928 Harley Davidson Board Track Racer... ... and this one is a 1931 Indian Sport Scout used on a Wall of Death. The AMCA also had a group of bikes at the show.  This is a 1969 BSA B25 Starfire. Cafe racers seem to be all the rage these days and this Yamaha is a nice example.  It also has a sticker from Blue Cat Motors (St. Paul) on it so I assume they either lent a hand or the bike is theirs. Keeping with the vintage theme, Indian had a real-life pin-up.  More pics to come...

More pics from the 2011 Progressive International Motorcycle Show ... Jason Britton and Eric Hoenshell from Team No Limit performed at the show.  I had seen them on TV on Super Bikes and Stealth Rider.  I am not a huge sport bike fan but these guys are really good at what they do and their control over their bikes is very impressive. I attended the 2011 Progressive International Motorcycle Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center on February 6th. It was the morning of Super Bowl Sunday and the show was busy, but it did not seem as busy as Saturdays when I have attended the show in the past.  There is lots to see at the show including the latest models from all the major manufacturers, some custom bikes, some classic bikes, and even a stunt show.  The nice thing about all the factory bikes is that you can sit on whichever bike you like and get a feel for it without any hassle. I'll start with the factory bikes.  The newest model from Harley Davidson is the Blackline, a softtail "dark custom".  They had two - one in orange and one in blue.  The bike is just OK to me.  What stood out was the speedo & indicator mount.  I covered that in a previous post as it looks like it might work for my speedo relocation project.  I just need to get part numbers and prices.
