Full Tilt Boogie coverage continues... It wasn't my first bike rodeo so it wasn't my first time seeing a weenie bite competition, but it's always entertaining and really fun to watch. More on that in a minute...
A few more photos from the main bike show area first...
Honk honk!
Mudflap:
I had two of the Nordic Dogs for dinner. I had tried them before a Heavy Thursday last year. So good!
Speaking of hot dogs, let the weenie bite competition begin!!!
Oof... slow drag across the forehead:
Juuuuuust a bit outside:
While clearly a miss, I still feel like this photo demonstrates proper form - channeling the shark from Jaws with fast vertical extension while mouth remains wide open.
Scoots goin' for the side-chomp!
Even some guys got in on the action:
Havin' fun:
Someone had the good idea to get some mustard from the Nordicdogs food truck and properly slather the hot dogs with it.
Successful chomp!!!
Close!
The next few attempts got so close!
A good example of barely missing and ending up with a face full of mustard.
Eric nearly getting mustard in his eye (saved by the sunglasses):
The angle and precision!!!
The crowd approves!
Seriously, no one was having more fun than Kim.
Great extension, but a miss.
The last thing a fish sees before being eaten by a walrus:
Complete commitment - FULL SEND!!!
Lost something...
Gotta get that video:
Middle fingers for everyone!!!
Overshot it:
Next time!
Denied!
So close!
Full chomp!!!
Can't tell if Tyler's is trying eat it, is yelling at it, or is singing into it.
Arch the back!
The whole setup fell over before Tyler got another chance.
Time to reset. Sam and Gabe did a great job.
Alright, enough of weenie bite - back to the show area.
Who needs fancy equipment like an English wheel when you have log! "What rolls down stairs, alone or in pairs, and over your neighbor's dog? What's great for a snack, and fits on your back? It's log, log, log!"
Comin' in hot!
Awards!!! I did a terrible job getting photos of the winners with their bikes but here are some of winners...
Alright, that was the bike show award portion of the coverage. Two more photos that include my van and we'll call this blogpost done.
One giant photo-filled blogpost left to go. Bands and slow ride ahead... and maybe a little slippin' and slidin'. Wait and see.
