Full Tilt Boogie 2025 coverage continues with bike games. The benefit of having all the grass and lawn area was that a few biker rodeo-type games could be played. I somewhat regret not throwing a bike in the back of the van to participate but after a week at the Van Nats, I wanted to keep things simple. Custom belt buckles, knives, and other awards were at stake for the games and bike show. First up was plank ride.
Plank ride is exactly what it sounds like - ride your bike and try to stay on the plank as long as you can.
The grass proved a bit slippery for some reason. This was the first and certainly not the last spill I captured. Not sure if it was slick from the rain the night before or if people might have grabbed a bit too much throttle and/or brake. I didn't see anyone get hurt but some bikes may have collected a few scratches, dents, and dings as souvenirs.
Another spill:
I feel like there's some wisdom being shared here.
Flying the chair!
Mini bikes! While a very early version of the flyer talked about races, there weren't any organized events with mini bikes. All the events held were very low speed.
Kim seemed to have a lot of fun on his trike.
I didn't see Josh take a single photo - he was just out enjoying the day.
I headed inside the Gas-Lite for a burger.
Tyler livin' the high life:
There was so much room. Campsites were sprawled all over the place.
Chad!
Breakfast of champions:
This Dodge was really cool:
Zac's van was tucked in the back corner.
A river through the property provided an opportunity to cool off. It was pretty warm out so the water likely felt nice.
Photos don't really convey how huge this inflatable tiger was. And yes, it was double-sided.
The next game was barrel push!
Tearin' up the grass:
The start of another big fall:
Man down!
It was pretty impressive to see one big shove push the bike back over.
Gabe almost went down but barely saved it:
Kim seemed to be having a blast.
Classic Sporty:
Lots more to go! Kickstart competition is up next.
