One week after the Van Nationals (see blogposts here), I was back in the van and headed to Full Tilt Boogie. This year, it changed venues again. For 2025, it moved to the Gas-Lite, which is just across the border from Red Wing, MN in Wisconsin (which is the "cheese" in "Gophers and Cheese"). I hadn't been there for an event since the SCVR Chili Feed, many years ago (2011 - see blogposts here).
I headed down Saturday morning. There was camping available Friday night too but the forecast and radar looked very rainy with thunderstorms so I reluctantly waited. I later heard it wasn't bad at all, but it was very difficult to know that beforehand. I took the twisty, curvy roads I would typically ride on one of my motorcycles... dropping down the St Croix Scenic Byway from I-94 to Prescott, and then down WI-35 to County Rd O.
Upon arrival, I set up near some of the other vans:
The venue was a huge change from past years. Full Tilt has moved around a lot but has always taken place in a parking lot next to a bar or brewery. This was the first time it took place on grass with camping on-site. I liked it.
The Locust!!!
Nate and Ryan rolling in:
I see that middle finger Ryan.
Nothing to see here...
Zac's freshly finished bike looked great.
Cracked paint perfection:
Zack had to take off early.
Danger Dan was there to host the bike games including his kickstart competition.
Bri's bike was looking good and was nearly done.
Amy's knuckle:
I have hundreds more photos to share from Full Tilt 2025. Bike games are up next!
