2023 was my second time attending the Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-in and the first time as a member of TCV. I drove my 1978 Dodge Trademan, of course, but this time I knew to bring a tent to put my stuff in when I wanted to show my van for show & shine or bright & shine. I still slept in my van, but the tent proved useful. The truck-in was held in Preston, MN.
The fairgrounds was fully equipped with a crop circle for UAPs to land so aliens and/or interdimensional beings could hang out and enjoy some Malort with the
Dakota Street Vans crew.
If a UAP did land in the crop circle, at least this van's wheel cover had some handy tips for first contact.

Aurora can sing - I know you can't tell from a photo, but it's true.
No, nothing weird or gross happened with the inflatable, uh, person here. It was pretty funny to see her wearing a club shirt and show up in random places around the fairgrounds though.
Seriously,
DSV tried to get EVERYONE to try Malort. Yes, I tried it. I think you should try it too... ideally in front of your friends, while one of them takes video. Your friends can thank me later.
OK, that wraps up day one. I took a ton of photos the next day and will spread them over the next two blogposts so keep checking back!
