Iron Invasion / Last Gasp, October 2022 - Part 5

OK, let's wrap up Iron Invasion / Last Gasp 2022 with a bunch more photos from day two.  Yes, you've seen a lot of vehicles before in my prior posts, but these are different angles... so they're different.  Believe it or not, I take a lot more photos than I share so my giant blogposts are (somewhat) edited down.  Anyway, enjoy the stuff I haven't posted pics of before and new angles of some of the ones I have.

As Iron Invasion was winding down, I left the fairgrounds and headed across the river (and state line) to Wake Brewing.  They were hosting a big Oktoberfest event featuring Bongzilla and other bands.  Riding over the Centennial Bridge into Illinois on my Grom was a little intimidating but I managed just fine.  I didn't stay long - it was a long day and I was pretty tired.  I also didn't love the idea of crossing that bridge on the Grom in the dark.

While I didn't stick around for the hangover cruise the next day, Iron Invasion / Last Gasp was absolutely awesome.  I'd highly recommend attending, but sadly it was the last one.  :(  The good news is that the next best thing, Vintage Torque Fest is coming up May 3-4, 2024!  If you're curious what it's like, I attended Vintage Torque Fest in 2019 & 2022 and you can see my blogposts here.
