Chariots of the Gods, Aug 2022 - Part 1
Last year's Chariots of the Gods custom van & vintage camper show was a special one for me. It was the first time I attended with my own van (my 1978 Dodge), and was the first one where I spent the night. Every other time I've been to Chariots (see blog posts here), I rode one of my motorcycles, stayed for a little while, took a bunch of photos, and left. Unsurprisingly, I took even more photos than usual so buckle up for 4 photo-heavy blogposts.
I wish I got more photos of this "convertible" van but it didn't stay long.
Take me back to Weasel-land...
Shawn's van is like an earlier version of mine.
These are Nate's vans. Nate did my van's upholstery and his shop Vinyl-Lux Upholstery hosts Chariots every year.
Kristie & Jay (Hollywood). I knew Kristie's van Ramblin' Fever from Chariots before I realized I work with her. Small world. Jay recently acquired Bad Company, which is such a cool van.
Kevin Baas' setup, complete with knucklehead:
I think Shane had just recently had the Gypsy Belle pinstriped and lettered at this point. It turned out great.
I have lots more photos to share... 3 more blogposts to go!
