Dave Polgreen and "Watermelon" Pete Mason both took home prizes for their bikes entered at the 2014 Progressive International Motorcycle Show. I took pictures of all three of these bikes multiple times over the course of 2013 at various bike shows and bike nights.
First up is Dave's Black Orpheus, a 1937 Harley UL flathead with paint by Tom Fugle. This bike is insane. Sadly, the tank was just recently damaged, which is why there is a business card stuck to it like a band-aid.
This is Dave's digger, a 1966 Harley shovelhead in a genuine 1970s Arlen Ness frame.
Finally, here's Pete's 1940 Harley knucklehead.
If you haven't figured it out after 10 posts and over 130 photos, the 2014 Progressive International Motorcycle Show was a good time. I look forward to it every January and this year certainly didn't disappoint. Don't miss it in 2015!
