More Gravel in Dayton
I managed to get out for a brief ride in the cool November air this past Friday.
Here's a shot in front of a cornfield on E French Lake Rd in Dayton, MN.
From there I turned onto 117th Ave N, and accelerated fast not realizing the road was about to turn to gravel. I was doing about 40 mph when the road transitioned, which surprised me. Something about the light and perspective made it look like pavement. Anyway, I kept the bike upright while I slowed down.
I can't explain my recent fascination with gravel roads - I think it's a mix of the challenge and the scenery.
