Flooding in Stillwater
On Saturday I took the Sportster to Stillwater. The weather was sunny and low 50s. I heard the rivers around here were swelling due to recent rain but was very surprised at how high the water level actually was. The walkway along the river was completely submerged.
The patio and parking area outside P.D. Pappy's was completely flooded.
Just up the road, near the Minnesota Zephyr, was the 2010 Fall Colors Fine Art & Jazz Festival.
I headed back to Minneapolis and stopped at Bob's Java Hut. Bob's has great coffee but if you're ever in the mood for something different, try the Mexican Hot Chocolate. It's awesome.
