The 48th annual Twin City Vans Good Times Truck-In was held in Albert Lea, MN at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds June 6th and 7th. I was there in my 1978 Dodge sporting my newly installed vintage Cal-Jammer wing. I did not get my new windshield visor done in time so little pieces of blue painter's tape covered the holes where the old, broken one was riveted on. I'm still hoping to get a new visor installed before the Nats.
Speaking of the Nats, Twin City Vans & friends are hosting the 52nd annual National Truck-In ("Van Nats") next month (July 9-13, 2025). Buy, borrow, or rent a van if you don't have one (a van is required!) and come hang out with hundreds of other vans and vanners from all over the country. Get all the details here: https://www.52ndvannationals.com/ While it's too late to pre-register, it's certainly not too late to attend - just show up and pay at the gate!
Our club's annual truck-in is just a weekend event instead of a full week so it was like the calm before the storm. Speaking of storm, while there was a threat of rain, we managed to stay dry, which was great. We still try to pack a lot of activities into a relatively short amount of time.
