Where's the year going? I can't believe it's already June. Here are a few things to check out.
This Thursday is First Thursday / Moto Mania. In case you've been living under a rock or just bought your first bike, it's the biggest bike night anywhere near the Twin Cities. Sadly, I haven't been to one yet this year because of the weather. Let's hope the forecast improves between now and Thursday or I might miss another one.
This weekend is the5th Annual Knuckle Shuffle so you can ride to Yuba, WI and camp with Kevin Baas and friends, all in support of the Kennedy High School Chopper Class.
Next weekend (6/12-6/13) is the Antique and Vintage Motorcycle Show and swap meet at the state fairgrounds in St. Paul. It is hosted by both the Viking Chapter of the AMCA and the VJMC. I haven't been to this show in a couple of years but it's always fun to check out.
The following two weekends have a few things going on to the south in Anamosa Iowa. There's the Vintage Rally at the National Motorcycle Museum on 6/20 and the JP Cycles open house 6/27-6/28.
Enjoy June and rest up for July. The "Big 3" in July (Rumble on the Deck, Full Tilt, and the Bearded Lady) will all lead up to the Moto Mania dirt track extravaganza on August 1st down in Owatonna. Get excited!!!
