Konawerks Grumpy's Bike Show 2013 - Part 1

The 3rd Annual Konawerks Grumpy's Bike Show (KGB III) was held earlier this week at Grumpy's Bar & Grill in Minneapolis.  The show is a fundraiser for the Minnesota Prostate Cancer Coalition so I gladly entered my Sportster in the show for $5 and bought some extra raffle tickets.  This was the first time I had attended this event.  I got there early so I headed inside to grab some food and a beer while the crowd built up.  When I came back out the crowd was much bigger than before.

Walking around the parking lot, I noticed a pair of shaft-driven chops.

I don't recall seeing a shaft-driven hardtail before but here one was.

I liked the helmet stickers.

Here you can see a creative use for an old metal lunchbox but I'd love to know what was on the lunchbox before it was spray painted.

Nice graphic on this dual-sport Honda:

Lots of welded accents on this hardtailed Honda:

And another Honda.  This one is Jon's:

I mentioned buying raffle tickets.  There were some good prizes up for grabs.  I put all my tickets in the jar for the Lowbrow Package (I didn't win).

In that same room, you could check out the trophies (spoiler alert: I didn't win one of those either):

Lots more photos from the show are up next.
