Bearded Lady 2013 Pics Coming... Eventually

I spent Saturday at the 2013 Bearded Lady Motorcycle Freakshow in Northeast Minneapolis and had a great time.  I took nearly 400 photos and it will take a while to sort through them (I'm still working on Full Tilt).  While you wait, here's a great one of the bearded lady herself alongside the master of ceremonies.

Why does it take so long?

1. I tend to take a lot of photos at bike shows
2. I review all the photos I take and pick my favorites (lots of great bikes means lots of favorites)
3. I crop, edit, watermark, and rename each photo
4. I put each photo into groups so my posts will make some sense (a post about Sportsters, a post about a particular bike, etc.)
5. I write posts that talk about the photos and try to tell a story about the day

The process takes a while and is a hobby, not a full-time job.  I promise the photos will be worth the wait.  However, I can't guarantee when they'll be posted.  I was so burnt out on blogging this time last year that I didn't get around to posting Bearded Lady 2012 pics until February!  On the bright side, those pics helped me win Lady Hump's February Blogosphere Challenge.

In terms of the process outlined above, I am through step 3 on Full Tilt Boogie.  Out of nearly 300 photos taken at Full Tilt, I have just finished selecting and editing 165 to post.  Get excited as it should be well over a week's worth of posts and trust me that the bikes were amazing.
