I spent the bulk of the morning and early afternoon riding with two friends. The weather was amazing - sunny and near 90 degrees. We met at Bob's, headed out towards the WI border while avoiding road closures, dropped south along the St. Croix Trail, stopped at the Nauti Hawg, rode down to Red Wing, Welch, Vasa, back to Welch, and had burgers at King's.
Here's the route we took. It's a 150-mile loop.
After all that, we headed to the Chopper Art Show. Here are our bikes at the armory. As you can see, we have a rather eclectic mix of rides.
Like most bike shows, the parking lot is typically as good as the bikes on display. I love the raw metal, garage-built look of this one.
I certainly like lace paint jobs.
There's a real wood dash panel on this Dyna.
